Michael Johns Tribute to Heath Ledger

The Australian-born rocker was buds with fellow countryman Heath Ledger - and an Idol win would honor his late friend.

Star Mag reports:

"'Michael and Heath hung out together when they were younger,' said a friend of Michael, 29. 'They were both born and raised in Perth and would go to parties and concerts together.'"
